Founded in 1992, Database Workshop Limited was setup with the aim of providing specialist IT solutions to industry, including Bespoke Software development. In the early days the main development tools were Clarion 2.1 for DOS, QuickBasic and dBase: Clarion is a 4GL relational database language, capable of rapid development of high performance, stable database applications.
 
Since 1992 the company has extended its range of services and expertise, by developing and increasing the range of software skills available to deliver those services. The company has developed bespoke systems for Sales Order Processing, Telesales, Invoicing and Stock control for many different organisations. Previous major projects include writing and designing solutions for Self-Assessment Taxation (for the Inland Revenue), Document Image Processing and Data Warehousing (British Gas).
 
Database Workshop can now provide custom solutions developed with Visual Basic, Java, Clarion for Windows and IntraBuilder, as well as Web design and a variety of other specialised services. The expertise and experience gained in a variety of fields and development tools ensures that Database Workshop can supply the needs of its customers - current and future - into the new Millennium.
